Fugen London Lip Beautification Lip Balm in Chocolate Review

Skin type: dry and sensitive

Hello Everyone, I am back with another review and this time I decided to review an amazing discovery that I had recently got. Yes, this amazing discovery had to be lip balm. My love for lip balms can never end. Anyways coming back to today’s product, this is the first time I have bought a product from this brand. The lady at the counter was so convincing that I couldn’t resist not buying this lip balm. Being a dry skin beauty I also suffer major from extreme dry chapped lips. The winter season is a great reminder to tell me I need to stock on lip balms more often.  Let’s see how this newbie in my stash fared.

So this is the first time I have purchased a product from this brand. The lip balm comes in a blister packaging along with extreme details printed all over the outer packaging. The lip balm comes in a green colored tube form which completely reminded me of the Vaseline Whitening Lip balm which was in rage a few years ago. The color of the packaging depends on the flavors you choose and currently there are 5 more flavors along with the chocolate one which I am reviewing in this post. On the lip balm tube, the ingredients of the lip balm is mentions along with directions to use the product (Like it was so needed 😛 ). According to the product description this lip balm is a complete herbal formulation which was why I brought it in the first place. Also they claim to not test on animals which is a rare thing I came across in India. The lip balm has a very delicious chocolaty fragrance and every time I apply it I feel like the eating it (I tried that once and sadly it doesn’t taste like the chocolate it smells 😛 ).

The formulation claims to contain olive oil along with coconut oil and almond oil which is why it provides a one of a kind rich moisturization on application. One swipe is enough for a completely glossy hint on moisture on my dry chapped lips. The texture of the lip balm is a bit runny and has a reddish tint; however on application it does show any kind of tint or leave any kind of stain behind. One major con of this lip balm is that it does not SPF content. Using this lip balm for the past two weeks I have definitely seen an improvement in the texture of my chapped lips. It also has to some extent made the pigmentation of my lips a bit less compared to what it was. I make it a point to use this every night after my daily CTM routine. The next morning my lips feel supple and less flaky. Overall I feel this is a great lip balm to include in your daily night routine so that you can also wake up to soft, non-chapped lips. Go ahead give this new lippie a try and I am sure you will not regret it.
