Ways to get rid of bad breath permanently

30% of world’s population is suffering from bad breath which is one of the most embarrassing things a person can actually suffer from. You might be very attractive, but bad breath can ruin your entire personality. Well, if you are a victim of bad breath, here are some solutions that will help you get rid of it.I know a few  people personally who suffer from bad breath and that really puts me off about them. So here I am sharing some useful improvements I found that could be useful 🙂

Always Use A Clean Brush

You might have noticed that after few month of usage, your toothbrush starts accumulating powder at the bottom. This can become a breeding place for bacteria which further gets transferred into the mouth, while brushing. You should clean your brush properly after every use and also change your brush every 2-3 months.

Rinse Mouth After Every Meal

It is not possible to floss teeth after every meal or food you eat during the day, so it is always better to rinse the mouth with water. You need to fill the mouth with water and rinse it twice or thrice so that the food build up in the mouth, gets released with water. You can also use a mouth freshener to make your breath smell good.

Drinks Lots and Lots of Water

Water is one thing that is healthy for your body and mouth too. Drinking water can keep the tongue and mouth hydrated which also prevents bacteria from multiplying. Not drinking enough water can make your mouth dry, thus releasing a bad smell.

Chew Some Cloves

Many people suffering from halitosis are advised to chew a handful of cloves or fennel seed. Due to antiseptic qualities in the cloves, it helps to keep your mouth smelling fresh and good. You can also chew some basil leaves, parsley or any other herbs with antiseptic properties.

Avoid Foods that Can Cause Bad Breath

You should always stay away from potent foods as they can make your mouth smell bad. Garlic and onions, among other foods, contain sulphur compounds that move on to the lungs after they are absorbed into the bloodstream. These pungent tasting food sticks in the mouth releasing pungent smell.

Use A Mouthwash

Person Pouring Liquid In Container

You can always practise 30 seconds mouthwash rinse after every meal you have. At least, mouthwash should be used twice a day as it prevents bacteria from growing. Or, take some lukewarm water and mix 2 teaspoon of baking soda to it. Now, use this every morning as a mouthwash. Baking soda helps to kill bacteria and contributes in making the mouth smell fresh.

Use of Mint or Cilantro

Take few leaves of mint or cilantro and keep them in your mouth for some time. You can also wash them and store the leaves in an airtight plastic in refrigerator, which will help to rejuvenate the taste buds and also neutralise the bad odour in the mouth. Girls, I am sure, you may be travelling from one place to another for work, so why not keep some mint leaves in mouth and keep working?

Chew Lemon Wedge

You can cut the lemon into few pieces, and keep chewing for some time. Lemon has great neutralising quality which helps to make your mouth smell fresh. Due to citric acid in lemons, it helps to stimulate the salivary glands thus fighting the bad smell. You can also keep some orange in the mouth, or any other citrus fruit.

Keep Your Mouth Clean

Bad breath is one of the unpleasant things that can be cured through some natural methods and practises. The most primary thing to be considered is to keep your mouth clean. You should brush twice a day as it will prevent bacteria build-up. Make sure you floss properly, as food mostly gets trapped in the gum line and between teeth.

Clean Your Tongue

So, how many of you clean your tongue along with teeth? Hardly few of us put this into practice. Surprisingly, there are more bacteria and food build-up on the tongue than teeth, which makes the breath smell bad. The food left on the tongue makes the mouth smell. You can clean your tongue using your brush, or better get a dedicated tongue cleaner.

How To Save Dried Gel Eyeliner

I have found a very effective way to save my gel liners even when I don’t have a product like Inglot Duraline or some other mixing medium.  Many of us I am sure already have the one thing needed to do this at home or it is easily available anywhere.  I have been using gel liners a lot these days. My absolute favorite has to be the Maybelline Gel Liner! But I have a few colors from Lakme, sometimes I find it hard to differentiate between the two once I have applied them.

Ways To Use Beer In Your Beauty Regime

After learning that everyone swears by beer to fix their hair problems, I started trying out new ways to use it in my beauty regime (using anything edible in your beauty regime being the big trend in the beauty world these days). I was surprised how multifunctional beer can be. Plus, you can even use leftovers from a party (which is both economical and ecological!) or weird experimental (read cheap) brews lying at the back of the fridge. Something, unheard of in the beauty world where only quality makes a product sell.

1.) To Get Rid of any Residue Build-Up:  Overtime residue hair care products can build up on your hair. Beer helps to remove hair residue build-up. Simply combine six tablespoons of beer and one cup of tepid water. Use this as a final rinse after washing and conditioning your hair to remove residue build-up.

2.) Make Your Own Beer Shampoo:  Beer in your shampoo will not only add a fun twist to your otherwise boring routine of washing hair, but also help to get rid of any leftover build up and add life and shine to flat lifeless hair. It is a wonderful cure for dry and flaky scalp as well.

To make one, you will need:

1.) Beer( any kind mostly flat will do)

2.) Your favourite shampoo (mine is the TRESemme one .)
3.) Saucepan.

1.) Heat a cup of beer into a saucepan and bring it to boil until ¼ of the original quantity is left. This will remove the alcohol which has a drying effect on hair.
2.) Let the leftover beer cool then and mix it with a cup of your shampoo afterwards.

3.) To Condition, Lighten, and Soften Hair:  I sometimes wash my hair with baking soda and apple cider vinegar and beer and chamomile tea make great conditioners to lighten, and add shine to my hair. Just pour some leftover beer through your hair, wash any residual beer with water and then pour a cup of cold chamomile tea over your hair. This will help give a highlighted look to your hair and even get rid of any residual beer smell.

4.) To Soften Tired Feet: Endless walking not only tires your feet but also leads to cracked heels. Beer helps to get rid of the upper layer of dead skin and even soften them. Just soak them feet in some beer mixed with warm water and voila!

5.) Beer Face Pack: Mix 1 tablespoon of yogurt, 1 teaspoon of almond oil, 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1 egg white, and add a tablespoon of beer to the mixture and blend well. The beer will clean, soften and maintain the pH balance of the skin, egg whites will tighten the pores and the skin, almond oil and olive oil will moisturise the skin and help to keep you looking young. Yogurt will help make skin soft and keep it hydrated. You can even squeeze in some lemon (not more than one teaspoon) to tackle hyperpigmentation and tanning.

Hope This helps 🙂 Until next time Cya 🙂
